You may use free image editing software
Gimp: https://www.gimp.org/downloads/
Step 1: There are 2 ways where you can open the image that you want to edit.

- Go to “File” and choose “Open”

- You may drag and drop the image

Step 2: Go to “Image” > choose “Scale Image” form the drop-down list.


Step 4: Once the size is set, go to File > “Export As… “ to save the edited file.

Step 5: A pop up will appear for you to rename/add image format and also where you want to save the picture in your pc.
Image format :
- .jpeg , .jpg for non-transparent background
- .png for transparent background
Once you have edit the details, click “Export”

Step 6: Once you click export, another pop up will appear
- Select “Show preview in image window”, once you select , you will see the “File size“. All images should be lesser than 250kb.
- If the image is more than 250kb, use the Quality option to adjust the file size to be lesser 250kb.
*adjust accordingly so that the quality won’t drop
Step 7: Click “Export “
